What to do when you have data discrepancies

Did you notice incorrect data in your sales-i platform? Don’t worry, we’re here to help! In order to resolve this issue as quickly as possible, be prepared to share the below items with our support team via support@sales-i.com

Missing sales-i data?

 

This may indicate that there is a problem with the connection between sales-i and your ERP.

Make a note of the dates you are not seeing data for (e.g. No data for the month of October, no data from yesterday) and contact the sales-i support team to let them know.

Please note: If you have a “day” bubble under your transaction analysis (blue bubbles) section, please follow the below steps to find the most recent day of data.

Go to Enquiries > make sure you are in Full Picture > Set Date Range for current month > Click on the Day bubble under Transaction Analysis (blue bubbles) to check the last date you had data reporting.

Incorrect sales-i data?

 

Contact the sales-i support team with the following three pieces of information:

1. Examples of what is incorrect and what the correct figure should be instead. Please try and be as specific as possible as this will lead to a quick resolution to the issue. Examples of what to say and what not to say:

BAD EXAMPLE: There is something wrong with my sales-i data.

Okay example: sales-i shows that my sales figure YTD is $2,000,000 when it should be $2,500,000.

Good example: sales-i shows that my sales figure YTD is $2,000,000 when it should be $2,500,000. It also shows my October figure as $10,000 when it should be $12,000.

BEST EXAMPLE: sales-i shows that my sales figure YTD is $2,000,000 when it should be $2,500,000. It also shows my October figure as $10,000 when it should be $12,000.

An example of a client that looks wrong is XYZ supply. Their figure should be $5,000 for October.

 

2. Screenshots of what you are seeing in sales-i. This helps us to identify the path you took to discover the incorrect numbers.

 

3. The exact location of where the issue exists on sales-i and the advanced drill path (if in Enquiries) you took to get there.
